The Ish

from SORE by Tsinder Ash

/

about

The Ish is a purple space that lies between
The crack that opens
And sense falls in
Limbs start to fail
Vision starts to swim
Here in the middle of elation and despair
I ejaculate my fears
I wake from nightmares of unknown pleasures and sail down
Corridors of
red velvet and gold leaf
A robe trails behind me a thousand feet
Birds nest in it, small creatures rest and scurry,
Blossoms bloom from the embroidery
All the doors ironclad and steel
Smeared bloody with broken palms
Of Those that try to leave its majesty
Forget their names and ancestry
I collapse in roseing folds
Enveloped in a life longing for
the grandeur of silence
A place where the walls adore me
Safe from the judgement of dimensions
Where all corners seek to destroy me

This Ish caress, this Ish coos
This Ish gave me
No way to choose
moralities burden
Stripped away
Left only the movement
Of night and day

Most would return to the comfort of meaning
Most would choose the objects cocoon
I choose the places no man can conquer
Where only harmonies of light
Commune
